Mowbray Park is the closest working farmstay to Sydney. Established in 1822 it has played many roles in Australian history, not just farming history.

The property has a number of accommodation lodges which cater to families and groups of all sizes.
Our food philosophy is “Paddock to Plate”.
What we don’t produce ourselves we source locally. We have estimated that our average food miles sits at about 60km. We provide three meals a day. Tea and coffee are available all day. If you wish to cater for yourself, that is an option and we have lodges perfect for a self-catered stay.
You have access to the whole farm and other activities you can do at your own pace.
You can do everything or nothing at all.
Your day can be as active as you want. We have a daily farm program which includes a visit to the animal nursery, feeding hay to the livestock and generally assisting the farmers in their day to day.
Family activities you are free to enjoy,can be swimming in the pool, take the canoe for a paddle, enjoy cooking billy tea and damper by the campfire, play tennis, have a fish in the dam or go for a relaxing stroll in the country. The choices are endless.
For the kids there is horseriding, learning to milk a cow and enjoy farm life in general.
